Rediscovering Nature, Recovering Memory
Guided tour: through history, art, work and worship, the Villa reveals the true function of its sumptuous rooms, the Romantic woodland, the culture of water and the art of topiary in the Italian garden. Then, on your own, discover the biodiversity of the countryside, the hunting roccolo and, among streams, groves and fields, a food area in the ancient farmstead.

The guided tour of the villa will take place even in case of rain. Access to the gardens is also guaranteed; suitable footwear for grassy areas, a waterproof jacket or poncho, and an umbrella are recommended.

Partenza delle visite: sabato alle ore 10:00, 11:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:30 e 16:00; domenica alle ore 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00, 14:30, 15:00, 15:30, 16:00 e 16:30.

1) The Villa House: discover and understand an architectural design created to manage the “Holy Agriculture”; furnishings and collections tell the story of a simple country life and the pleasures of the summer retreat.
2) A unique botanical treasure: stroll in the shade of centuries-old trees and exotic species, among grottoes and mounds, along tree-lined avenues, following ancient hedges and exploring the pathways of the hunting grove. Across clearings and rows of crops, you can also reach a food area at the Tesa dei Tiepolo, the ancient country farmstead.
3) The culture of water: it is fascinating to discover how, in the past, people managed this precious resource, drawing water from the river and conveying it by gravity and communicating vessels for the production and preservation of food for the villa community, as well as for crafting goods destined for the markets of the time, before returning it to the river itself. This is our ancient water circuit.
Price per person: 16,00 €
Facilitation: Reduced admission €13.00: students aged 6 to 21, Friends of the Venetian Villas, ADSI, FAI and TCI members, residents of the Municipality of Carbonera, and visitors with disabilities. 10% discount for families of at least 4 people (maximum 2 adults + 2 or more children aged 6–17). Free admission: children up to 5 years old.

What includes: The ticket includes: A guided tour of the Villa, noble garden and chapel at the scheduled times, led by our staff and students from the Mazzotti Institute in Treviso; the guided tour is in Italian: English contents are available in the mobile app. A self-guided walk through the estate’s rustic park and a visit to the hunting roccolo, with the help of a map, information panels and a mobile app. A food area is available at the Tesa dei Tiepolo.

Advice
Everyone | Wear suitable footwear for walking on grassy areas. The guided tour is in Italian: English contents are available in the mobile app. Visitors taking part in the Villa guided tours at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm are kindly advised to visit the rustic park before the guided tour, in order to avoid conflict with the closing time at 6:00 pm.
Technical notes
Entrance: via Brigata Marche 18, Carbonera. On Google Maps, search for “Villa Tiepolo Passi – Ingresso Est” https://maps.app.goo.gl/FeSSdZ9JEwPRhCrC6. Access is not available through the historic gate at number 24. Parking: on-site parking is available while spaces last. A large public car park is also available nearby.
Accessibility
Partial accessibility for visitors with disabilities: the first floor of the Villa can only be reached by stairs; the chapel has two steps at the entrance; the parks include grassy, unpaved and gravel paths. Accessibility support: a tactile model of the Villa and Italian garden complex, with visual and audio content.
