Venetian Villas Day at TTG

The Associazione per le Ville Venete – APS, together with the Istituto Regionale Ville Venete (IRVV) and the Veneto Region, is successfully promoting the heritage of the Venetian Villas (over 4,300 cataloged) through the Giornata delle Ville Venete (Venetian Villas Day).

This cultural tourism event has attracted over 50,000 visitors in three years and represents a best practice in experiential tourism. With more than 100 participating Villas across Veneto and Friuli offering over 180 immersive thematic experiences, it creates an unforgettable opportunity for participants.

It is not just about rediscovering heritage, but about experiencing it authentically—from overnight stays to tastings of local wines and olive oils (zero-mile production), and from guided walks through historic gardens admiring the autumn foliage to tours led by the owners themselves, thereby discovering the beauty of our region through a lens of sustainability and undertourism.
