Venetian Villas Day at TTG

Thanks to the fundamental support of the Veneto Region, the Association for Venetian Villas (APS) promotes the Giornata delle Ville Venete (Venetian Villas Day) at leading national and international tourism fairs that celebrate Italy worldwide.

We firmly believe that raising awareness among tourists about the historical heritage left by the “Civiltà di Villa” (Villa Civilization) creates attentive, active, responsible, and sustainable visitors.

For this reason, the GVV team participates in major industry events—such as WTE in Assisi, TTG in Rimini, WTM in London, and BIT in Milan—which will also be joined by FITUR in Madrid in 2027.

The Giornata delle Ville Venete is a cultural tourism event that has attracted over 96,000 visitors in five years and stands as a best practice in experiential tourism. In the 2026 edition, more than 100 Venetian Villas across the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions participated, offering over 180 immersive thematic experiences and providing guests with an unforgettable opportunity to truly understand what a Venetian Villa represents today.

It is not merely about rediscovering heritage, but about experiencing it authentically: through stays, wine and olive oil tastings (locally sourced, “0 km” products), storytelling, and walks through historical gardens while admiring the autumn foliage, as well as guided tours led directly by the owners. In doing so, visitors discover the beauty of our region through the lens of sustainability and undertourism.
